Inspired Student Leadership
Free Badge Interest Form for conference joiners
Student leadership has the potential to transform school culture and create meaningful community impact, but only when students are supported with the right structures, skills, and guidance.
Too often, students are passionate about creating change but lack the tools to turn ideas into sustainable action. At the same time, educators are balancing increasing demands and may not always have the time or frameworks needed to effectively mentor leadership initiatives.
With the right support systems in place, student leaders can move beyond one-off activities and develop the confidence, empathy, and strategic thinking needed to lead meaningful, lasting impact projects.
As part of the Australian Council for Student Voice and Inspire Citizens Student Leadership events, Inspire Citizens is pleased to offer one free micro-credential badge per participating school.
Please express your interest below to learn more about the Inspire Citizens Micro-Credential programme.
What you get with the free badge
Accessing a free Inspire Citizens Badge will provide students with a supported leadership learning experience facilitated by Australia Lead Facilitator Lottie Dowling.
The programme includes:
One 1-hour whole-group learning session introducing the leadership skill, exploring the learning materials, and launching the student application task.
Four 15-minute small-group coaching sessions to support students as they design and develop their application task.
One 1-hour whole-group showcase session where students present and reflect on their learning and impact.
This programme is designed primarily for students (up to 20 participants); however, teachers are warmly encouraged to join the sessions to better understand the Inspire Citizens approach to student leadership development. Participating educators will also receive access to the learning presentation and resources, allowing them to continue facilitating and embedding these leadership skills within their own school context.
Upon successful completion of the application task, participating students will receive an Inspire Citizens Student Leadership Badge.
Please note that completion of four badges is required to achieve the Inspire Citizens Student Leadership Certificate – Level 1.
More information about the full programme can be found below, along with the full menu of 15 leadership badges available for schools and students to choose from.
