The PYP Exhibition is one of the most rewarding milestones in the Primary Years Programme, a chance for students to conduct in-depth inquiries into real-world issues, apply their transdisciplinary skills, and demonstrate the attributes of the IB Learner Profile in action, as empowered and informed global citizens.
But as many PYP Coordinators and Grade 5/6 teachers know, PYPx can also come with real challenges: keeping students focused and motivated, managing timelines, supporting authentic action, and helping every learner find their own voice within the process.
This session is designed for PYPx Coordinators and Grade 5/6 teachers looking to strengthen their approach to the Exhibition. We'll cover:
An introduction to the Empathy to Impact model
Practical advice for guiding students through the inquiry process
Ready-to-use resources and activities to support planning and reflection
Common pitfalls to avoid - and how to navigate them
A chance to connect and share ideas with other PYPx educators in breakout rooms
